The North Course is more undulating than the South and offers a different, yet no less challenging round of golf. Relying on precision rather than length, an added challenge is provided by the "barrancas" that snake their way through the course. These natural storm gullies feature on all three golf courses add an extra dimension to the game. As with the South Course, and particularly on the back nine, water is a prominent feature. Caution! "Take plenty of balls on this course and do not be tempted to wade into the water, the stickleback at La Manga Golf Club grow to three feet long with ferocious gums."
